“Singing with the Broadway Stars” Contest Ends
Tuesday, May 13 at 5 p.m.
YORK, PA - Five Broadway stars are giving away the chance to join them on stage in Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway at
Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center in York on Friday, May 16.
Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway concert features Broadway stars of Phantom of the Opera,
Les Miserables, Jekyll and Hyde, Fiddler on The Roof,
Wonderful Town, Tarzan, Cats, The Woman in White and
It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues singing the finest hits songs of the last 100 years of Broadway musicals.
One winner and five runners-up will be selected by the show’s panel of industry experts (including producers, singers, and managers as well as Neil Berg
himself).
To submit, contestants should upload a 90-to-120-second video clip of themselves singing a Broadway favorite to YouTube, MySpace, or Facebook, and then email
the link of their audition video to submission@singingwiththebroadwaystars.com by 5 p.m. Eastern
Standard Time on Tuesday, May 13. The panel will judge the audition tapes to decide the lucky winners who will get the chance to show
off their singing skills in front of their family and friends with five Broadway stars and an all-star New York band. Winners will also receive tickets for their
family and friends to see their Broadway debut!
The panel will announce the winners on Wednesday, May 14 at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Winners will receive notification by email or phone.
All audition video submitters will be entitled to a 15% discount on any price level ticket to Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway at
The Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center on Friday May 16 at 7:30 pm.
Tickets are still available for Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway, presented at 7:30 pm on Friday May 16, 2008. Ticket prices range from $40 to $65.

Audition - Submission Guidelines and Rules:
1) This is an audition, not a contest or sweepstakes. Winners selected will perform at the matinee performance only.
2) Submission must be 90-120 seconds long and posted to a myspace, facebook,or youtube page. The link (along with the submitter’s name, age, address, e-mail
address and phone number) must be emailed to submission@singingwiththebroadwaystars.com no later than 5 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 13.
3) Entrants must be at least 15 years of age to submit their video.
4) Winners under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent.
5) No purchase is necessary. The five runners-up will each receive a pair of complimentary tickets to the show. The winner will receive four complimentary
tickets.
6) All winners must arrive at the theater by 1 p.m. the day of the show, appropriately dressed, and stay for the whole production. The producers of the show
reserve the right to exclude anyone who does not meet these criteria.
7) The runners-up will perform as part of the ensemble in one song during the show.
8) The winner will sing a short solo in at least one song in the show.
9) All audition video entrants will be entitled to a 15% discount on any tickets to the matinee performance of Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway at The
Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center on Friday, May 16, 2008, at 7:30 p.m.
10) Winners and runners-up may be asked to do interviews for local media.
11) All submitted videos will become the property of Left Field Productions and may be used in any appropriate manner to promote the “Singing with the Broadway
Stars” platform. No submissions will be sold.
